China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-Council, founded in 1978, consists of typical businessmen, enterprises, associations and groups of economic and trade circles in Beijing with over 4000 member units, setting sub-councils in 14 districts and development zones of Beijing. The purpose of Beijing Sub-Council includes: under the policies and regulations of government, carrying out all kinds of economic and technical foreign co-operations that may facilitate foreign trade, utilize foreign capitals and bring in advanced foreign technology, which stimulates the development of the economic and trade relationships between Beijing and the world's countries and regions, and enhances the understanding and friendship of the economic and trade circles between Beijing and people throughout the world.
